Passionate About Inspiring Others
Since I was a child, I always love to write short stories, poems and even essays. Writing is my passion and I like to give my POV (Point of View) in a particular thing by writing a poem or even performing a spoken word poetry.
I will not make you wait any longer, here are some of my poems about particular issues written in Filipino and Bikol.
The concept of this poem is about “Love in the Wall”. Can you really find love in the wall? Explore the love story of Inday who the desperately awaits for her love. But the true meaning of this poem, is to spread awareness about vandalism. We shouldn’t write anything, anywhere just because we wanted to. Discipline is a must! Maybe for some it’s only a small issue but having discipline to yourself may affect your entire life. Think of it.
I perform this piece in “Spoken word Poetry” for Buwan ng Wika Celebration last August 29. It was my first time performing my piece on that huge number of people. As expected, I was so nervous that I drag the microphone stand in the stage, but unexpectedly, I won the first place.
It tackles different lives particularly Filipinos, example, a depress student, a corrupt politician, and a child lost his father because of EJK (Extra Judicial Killing). In this poem I encourage people to give importance to their lives and learn to use it properly no matter what stage in society they belong. Life is life, it is sacred. Nothing should be compared to it.
In this site, I shared lot of things. I hope you’ve been inspired of my words and perspectives. I did not make this site to make me shine, to become a star. Instead I created this website, as a ladder for to become a “star”. Not like a star in televisions or entertainment neither a Star above the night sky but a star that shines from within, for she or he has a good personality, values and actions. For that persons, who succeeds for his or herself but contributes for the success of community.
